About Us

Brief History of the School

Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, Chowk Pragdas, Amritsar, established in 1987 under the esteemed aegis of the Chief Khalsa Diwan, is dedicated to providing quality education enriched with strong moral and spiritual values. The school focuses on nurturing confident, responsible, and well-rounded individuals by promoting academic excellence, independent thinking, and self-discipline.

Along with a well-structured curriculum, equal emphasis is placed on character building, cultural awareness, and co-curricular development. Rooted in Sikh traditions, the school integrates spiritual learning through Sikh history and Gurbani, while celebrations of Gurpurabs and the presence of a Gurudwara Sahib on campus further strengthen students’ values and faith. We strive to create a safe, inspiring, and inclusive environment where every student grows intellectually, socially, and spiritually, preparing them to become ideal citizens of tomorrow.
